After qualifying in 1988 from Birmingham University, I returned to my home town of Bournemouth and have been Practicing here ever since. I owned an award winning Practice from 1996 to 2008 and brought the core of my team with me to Cheriton that year, and they are still at Cheriton now.
I pride myself in good patient care, always putting the needs of the patient first, and am proud to be a Denplan Excel accredited dentist, and enjoying all aspects of general dentistry.
I introduced our in-house preventative care plan – Smilecare – to Cheriton, encouraging patients to attend regularly, spreading the cost monthly, and when required, being able to have treatment at permanently discounted prices. This has proven very popular, and we now offer this monthly fee at half price for those patients turning 18, until 25 years of age.
Now my 2 boys have fled the nest, my spare time is taken up with my wife Caroline, usually with a glass of wine, or on the golf course, usually with a lot of banter.
